Hello and welcome to my blog, which will give you details about my skills and experience.

I have spent the last 22 years in consultancy in the field of transport planning and assessment, including:

• strategic planning for transport, both national, regional and urban
• transport policy support
• economic and financial evaluation of transport projects, from ports to public transport systems to high-speed rail proposals
• due diligence for bankers (e.g. ports, motorway service stations, airport access)
• secondment to client offices (e.g. TfL)
• project preparation (e.g. writing ToRs, EU bid evaluation committees, project review)

I have particular expertise in freight transport, having worked in the port and shipping industry.

My work and consultancy experience has taken me around the world, including the Middle East, CIS (former Soviet Union), Eastern & Western Europe and the UK (where I am based). 

I am available for short or medium-term assignments.
